During the past two years a new life cycle would start for me. As a PlantHealth student I learned not just about agriculture, pesticides, biological control… but also about myself. Leaving far from home with these amazing people from different corners of the world, chasing the same objectives, sharing knowledge and friendship… All of this was a life-changing experience in so many ways. I would like to thank all the professors from Göttingen University and Politècnica de València as well as all the PlantHealth staff for making this project happen. I hope this network gets even bigger and we keep the same enthusiasm and brilliance from our master professors and mentors in our professional life.

When I first arrived for our orientation week in Spain, I was excited to study plant health with a global perspective. I knew that I would be studying with people from different countries, but I didn’t know I would learn so much about life in only two years of Erasmus. I met new friends that became like a family. Often, it’s been the journey that teaches you your destiny and this programme was undoubtedly that for me.

Being a first batch student of EMJMD PlantHealth was a roller coaster ride. Many new experiences, bunch of opportunities, new friends, new places, new professors and new academic environment. This new ride of life helped me to grow as an individual in every facet of life. I am immensely thankful to the EMJMD PlantHealth Program and European Commission for funding us to have this dream academic life with best opportunities and platform.

The last years have been the best years of my life and I’m so grateful to Erasmus Mundus PlantHealth for this amazing experience. I had the opportunity of studying in the best universities and sharing time with these amazing classmates, but I think in the end, Erasmus Mundus is much more than just studying, it’s the whole experience: the places that you can visit and of course the friends that you make and suddenly become your family.
